BRING IT! was part of the New Hampshire Nursing Workforce Diversity Pipeline Program offering nursing career exploration programs to Manchester youth from diverse backgrounds.  Funded by the Partners Investing in Nursing's Future program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, BRING IT! offered semester-long introductory and advanced nursing exploration courses to students where they would dive into what life i like as a nurse, and even become First Aid/CPR certified.  More than 150 Manchester students participated in this program over the years, and many have gone on to study nursing or other clinical health care careers.

BRING IT! has partnered with Southern NH Area Health Education Center to create the year-long Health Career Quest program.  The program is open to any underrepresented minority or low income students in grades 9-12 from the Manchester School District. We know that it’s essential to diversify our health care workforce in order to continue to provide high quality care to all Granite Staters.  This program helps to build a pipeline of young adults who are exploring health care careers while in high school that graduate ready to head into a training program that sets them on track for a successful career in the health care field.

Sponsored by the Office of Minority Health Partnerships to Achieve Health Equity Program, students learn about the skills necessary to be successful in a health career training program, participate in science enrichment activities, and work on soft sills and personal strength development through coaching with I Am My Own Champion.  Students present on the health career they wish to enter at the end of the program, and earn credit towards their high school graduation requirements.
