The 2022-2023 program year got off to a great start this fall. We were able to support hundreds of Manchester students through donations of backpacks filled with school supplies. This allowed them to feel prepared for when school began. During our in-person programming at Hillside Middle School we have seen upwards of 65-70 participants each night. Students have engaged in a variety of activities, including soccer, fitness, dance, arts & crafts, and academic support. We have been fortunate to have assistance from our local college volunteers who have supported us along the way. We are most proud of the addition of our academic centers, where students receive individualized or small group learning centers each night. This means that for those who attend weekly, they are receiving an extra 45-60 minutes of academic support each week. All of this is combined with the continuation of our remote learning program, where students can be connected with certified teachers to receive academic support from home.
